The Hogg DNA Project is compiling DNA data from as many participants as can be found, allowing for reasonable variation in spelling of the name. The goal is to obtain DNA from a representative of every Hogg family and determine how they are connected. At this point, we have about 100 sets of DNA. The results tell us there about 20 distinct Hogg families. The results of the project are at hdhdata.org/hoggdna.htmlAt this time we do NOT have DNA from a representative of the family that is the focus of this web site. The absence of data from this family is a significant shortcoming of the project. I am hoping a member of this family will read this post, checkout my web page, and decide to participate in the project.
